Red pandas aren’t very known to mankind. They are very close to panda bears. But they are red, white, and have an orange tint on their fur instead of regular pandas which are black and white.  The regular panda is more known to people then the red panda because they are partially extinct and there is only about 2,500 adult red pandas left in the world. They’re ailurus fulgens which live in Southern Tibet and the ailurus slyani which lives east of the Brahmaputra River in northern Burma and also in southwestern china. But there is only two species of the red panda.
